@MeganticAU Want to do a sticky beak on your competitors canonical tags? 🖥️ Head to the Source Code (Control+U), then search (Control+F) for “Canonical”.

@MeganticAU For pages with only small changes (such as product variations, like colour), point the canonical tag to the main version of the page. This could be the generic version or the most popular version.

@MeganticAU We recommend adding canonical tags to every page on your website, even if they are self-referential (i.e. they link back to themselves).

@MeganticAU Canonical tags. Canonicals are a type of HTML tag that points to the desired version of a page, when there are multiple similar pages. The benefit for SEO? It prevents Google from indexing and ranking the undesired version of a page.

@MeganticAU Humans tend to avoid typing full URLs, so “https://” and “www.” mean the same thing to us. But to Google, URLs are case sensitive. Even as little as one character difference means that Google will treat it as a separate page. So how do we remedy this?

@MeganticAU And how do you ensure deep work is working? Time tracking. Set a timer when you begin working on a specific task and turn it off when completed. This will give you a good idea of how long certain tasks take you to complete so you can plan your time more effectively in the future
